With tickets available for a strictly limited season at the Noel Coward Theatre, the heralded musical features the iconic music by legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.

Set in the 1930’s, the tale takes place in the town of Duluth, Minnesota, during the despair of the Great Depression. Following a dysfunctional family as they try to cling on to all they have, their future hangs dangerously in the balance. Kept in money by the lost and lonely drifters that come and go through the doors of their guesthouse, owner Nick Laine thinks there is some hope to escape this disparaging life.

With music from Bob Dylan’s incredibly back catalogue, including “I Want You”, “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Forever Young”, the legendary singer has had a prolific career spanning over 50 years. With more than 100 million records sold, he is the recipient of countless awards, including eleven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award, and has been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Most recently, the artist received the Nobel Prize for Literature.

The title of McPherson’s new musical is from the popular Dylan song Girl from the North Country, which was recorded in New York in 1963 and featured as the second song on his second album "The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan".
