Getting into the Venue

The Majestic Theatre is accessible step-free from street level to the main lobby on 245 West 44th Street. Automatic doors take patrons to the ticket lobby, with ushers attending a second set of double doors into the inner lobby.

Step-free access is available to wheelchair designated seats as well as the front Orchestra up to row I. A number of aisle seats with folding armrests are available across the Orchestra (nine seats) and Rear Mezzanine (seven seats). Please note that the Rear Mezzanine has a steep rake and is therefore not advised for patrons with limited mobility.

The rear of the Orchestra and both Mezzanines are accessible by stairs only (51 steps to Mezzanine level), with a further two steps up to each row. Handrails are available everywhere except for the rear Orchestra and Mezzanine, where handrails are available on the far side aisles only.

There are no elevators or escalators at this venue.

Customer Assistance

Box Office counters are varying heights to accommodate patrons, with staff available to assist.

A wheelchair accessible unisex restroom is located on the Orchestra level. Other restrooms are up 42 steps (nine steps below the Mezzanine), and in the Lower Lounge, 19 steps down from Orchestra level.

Please be aware that staff are unable to provide assistance to patrons where there are steps into or inside the theater, so it is advised that you attend with a companion where possible.
