Oh, What a Night!

Hit jukebox musical Jersey Boys is back in the West End! Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ journey from New Jersey to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is loaded with hit songs that have entire audiences bopping at the Trafalgar Theatre.

Combining toe-tapping music with a moving, personal story, Jersey Boys recounts the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The four boys from New Jersey shot to the top of the charts with a sound no one had ever heard before, earning themselves a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame before they hit 30. But while the harmonies in their music were pitch-perfect, offstage they were increasingly out of tune.

You'll be "Beggin" for Jersey Boys tickets as this electric musical features live performances of the group’s greatest hits, including “1963 (Oh What A Night)”, “Walk Like a Man”, “Big Girls Don't Cry” and "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You". Each song is recreated faithfully by a brilliant live band and incredible vocal performances from the cast.

The Jersey Boys London cast includes Luke Suri as Frankie Valli, Benjamin Yates as Tommy DeVito, Adam Bailey as Bob Gaudio and Karl Wilson as Nick Massi.

They started singing under streetlights in New Jersey and ended up in the international spotlight; Jersey Boys at Trafalgar Theatre thrillingly reveals the on-and-offstage secrets of one of the biggest pop bands in history.

I was never all that interested in going to see this, but took my friend for her birthday and I'm so glad I did. Loved the songs, the characters were great and the main actor who played Frankie Valli was amazing! Great night out!

Show was first class, acting was first class. The singing was strong. Had me singing and tapping along all the way through the performance. I thought I knew all the songs that the Four Seasons performed. Found out a lot about their true story . Highly recommend this show.

The show charts the origins of the American band The Four Seasons from 1950 until 1990, where the original The Four Seasons are reunited and inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Most of us will be familiar with the music from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, but what do we really know about how the band was formed, how they rose to fame, and what happened behind closed doors? The four main leads were exceptional, with Luke Suri superbly emulating Frankie's unusual but outstanding falsetto voice. The supporting cast all expertly helped to add to the unfolding drama. The story is told in four parts (tagged to a season to show the original band members rise and fall) as seen through the eyes of Tommy, Bob, Nick and finally, Frankie. We see the joys, struggles and heartaches, both personal and professional; the friendships; the departures of Tommy, Nick and Bob; and how Frankie was catapulted into the limelight, with The Four Seasons being his backup band. Throughout the show we are treated to a back catalogue of hits from the band, and the reasons why and how these songs came to be.
