Legally Blonde Tickets

Savoy Theatre

Based on the hugely popular 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde arrives at the West End, bringing bright pink, smart sass to London’s Savoy Theatre. Adapted into a marvellous musical, get ready to “bend and snap” with Harvard’s smartest blonde.

Based on the international smash-hit film, Legally Blonde the Musical brings the inspirational tale of Elle Woods to the West End stage. Following a successful debut on Broadway, the dazzling musical transfers to the Savoy Theatre London.

Legally Blonde tells the tale of the underestimated Elle Woods, a seemingly ditzy but beautiful Sorority President and UCLA. When her long-term boyfriend, Warner, breaks up with her to date someone more “serious”, Elle decides to apply to Harvard Law School to win him back. In an unlikely turn of events, Elle is accepted into Harvard, where she discovers that she is smarter and more determined than she, or anyone else, ever thought was possible. Recapturing Warner’s heart seems like an easy feat for Elle, until she meets his new girlfriend, Vivienne.

Originally starring British favourite Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Legally Blonde has also seen Susan McFadden and Carly Stenson fill the sparkling cerise shoes. The original cast also included Alex Gaumond and Duncan James as Emmett and Warner, alongside Denise Van Outen as Paulette and Siobhan Dillon as Vivienne.

With a score by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O’Keefe, Legally Blonde includes stand-out numbers such as ‘Omigod You Guys’, ‘Serious’, ‘Ireland’, ‘Positive’, ‘So Much Better’ and the hilarious song ‘Bend and Snap’. The strength of the musical score was commended, winning the Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Legally Blonde was adapted for the stage by Heather Hatch and produced by the prolific Sonia Friedman, alongside direction and choreography by veteran Jerry Mitchell. Further creative team members include lighting by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller.
