See A New Musical With The Little Big Things Tickets

Be one of the first to see an extraordinary world premiere this year: the story of mouth artist and motivational speaker Henry Fraser heads to the stage in The Little Big Things at Soho Place. Making its mark as the first musical to open at London’s newest West End venue, this exciting, emotional rollercoaster of a show runs for a limited season in autumn 2023.

About The Little Big Things Musical

Henry Fraser was 17 years old when an accident on holiday left him paralysed from the neck down, and his future suddenly looked very different. As he learns to navigate life in a whole new way, can he take control of the good days, weather the bad, and keep his family from falling apart?

With an exhilarating theatrical pop soundtrack by Nick Butcher and Tom Ling, The Little Big Things musical is based on Fraser’s best-selling 2017 memoir and adapted by Joe White. It is directed in its boundary-pushing world premiere by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet; My Son’s a Queer). This team of young theatremakers show that new and emerging talent isn’t in short supply, and fans of West End shows can find classics like Les Mis rubbing shoulders with some of the most innovative new work in the country!

The Little Big Things Cast

Ed Larkin makes his West End theatre debut as Henry Fraser and Jonny Aimes portrays the artist in his younger years.

Further casting includes Olivier Award nominee Linzi Hateley (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; London Road) as Fran Fraser; Alasdair Harvey (Come From Away; Mamma Mia!; We Will Rock You) as Andrew Fraser.

The Little Big Things - Story Behind the Show

This hotly-anticipated new British musical is based on Henry Fraser’s best-selling memoir, with every character inspired by real people in his life including family, friends and doctors.

Fraser has been involved in the development of The Little Big Things to ensure accuracy and innovation are brought to the stage. Soho Place continues to push boundaries and champion representation and access in many of its production, following an acclaimed first year of plays that included Marvellous, which featured a neurodivergent company of actors as Neil Baldwin; and Shakespeare’s As You Like It, which integrated British Sign Language and surtitles throughout the production.

Speaking about the show, Fraser told BBC News, “There have been many things that have happened since my accident that I never thought about in life, never planned and really surprised me, in a great way. This musical is one of those moments. The guys have been great to work with and the moment they played me a couple of songs I was sold.”
