The Nutcracker Tickets

London Coliseum

English National Ballet’s Nutcracker makes its return to the London Coliseum for a strictly limited four-week season, having sold out at the venue in 2016, 2017 and 2018. This enchanting Christmas staple brings Tchaikovsky's score into dazzling relief.

For a limited four weeks only, English National Ballet’s Nutcracker returns to London Coliseum. This glistening festive staple ushers in the Christmas season, ready to melt the hearts of old and young audiences alike. Catch it in the West End from 11 December 2019.

The production enjoyed sell-out success at the Coliseum in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Based on E. T. A. Hoffmann's story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, it features a famous score by Tchaikovsky. More than 100 dancers and musicians bring the show to life, along with exquisite sets and costumes.

One Christmas Eve, in a snow-covered Edwardian London, young Clara receives an enchanted Nutcracker doll as a present. He opens the door to a magical world, and soon they find themselves battling with the dastardly Mouse King. Then the pair take to the chill-bitten skies as they ride a hot air balloon to the Land of Snow.

Concept comes from Wayne Eagling and Toer van Schayk, choreography is by Eagling, design is the work of Peter Farmer and lighting comes from David Richardson.

This festive delight is one for the diary. Nutcracker plays at the London Coliseum for a strictly limited four-week season from 11 December 2019.
