The Snowman Tickets

Peacock Theatre

Based on the book by Raymond Briggs and the timeless film classic that has entered our homes Christmas after Christmas, The Snowman at The Peacock Theatre was the perfect experience to get all the family in the mood for festive season during Christmas 2016. With spectacle, magic, music and dance, this beautifully directed production is ideal for giving young children an early theatre experience.

There are some things that are so inextricably associated with Christmas that it just would not feel the same without them. The Raymond Briggs classic, The Snowman is exactly that – the perfect blend of goodwill, festive cheer and a little magic to firmly establish itself as an integral part of the British family Christmas.

Whether it is the original book, or the timeless film shown every year on Channel 4, The Snowman has been enjoyed by generations of children, year on year. This theatrical production at the Peacock Theatre in London’s West End was the perfect way to give families and young children the opportunity to experience that Christmas magic again in a new way.

With lyrics and music by Howard Blake, direction by Bill Alexander, choreography by Robert North, lighting by Tim Mitchell and design by Ruari Murchison, this new staging of The Snowman lit up the imaginations of kids of all ages. This production is recommended for kids that are ages 2 and up, however babes in arms will still be admitted. Children aged 2 and up will require a ticket for the performance.

The Snowman tells the tale of a young boy and his magical snowman who comes to life in the night. As their friendship is kindled, the two embark on an exciting adventure through the starry-skies to the North Pole, where they meet reindeer, dancing penguins, Father Christmas and even escape the clutches of Jack Frost.
