The Snowman Tickets

Peacock Theatre

Much-loved dance spectacle, The Snowman, returns to the Peacock Theatre to enchant audiences once again this Christmas. Based on the charming book by Raymond Briggs, watch as a little boy’s snowman comes to life and takes him on the adventure of a lifetime to the home of Father Christmas.

The festive dance spectacle The Snowman returns to the Peacock Theatre where it has spread the Christmas spirit for more than 17 years. Based on the beloved children’s book by Raymond Briggs and 1982 animated TV special by Dianne Jackson, The Snowman uses dance, music, storytelling, spectacle and magic to hold families enchanted.

When a little boy’s snowman comes to life the two strike up a magical friendship. The boy shows the snowman all of the curiosities of his human house before being taken by the hand and whisked away through the air to Lapland. Beyond the aurora is the snowmen’s party, penguins, and a host of magical creatures including Jack Frost, the Ice Princess and of course, Father Christmas. Brimming full of falling snow and flying effects, ‘it doesn’t come much better at Christmas’ (The Guardian).

With charming music by Howard Blake, including the audience favourite ‘Walking in the Air’, The Snowman is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. Directed by Bill Alexander and choreographed by Robert North, it is full of cheerful dance numbers that have even the smallest audience members entranced. Do bear in mind that Snowman enthusiasts 2+ years require their own ticket!

The Snowman opens exactly a month before Christmas on 25th November 2015 at The Peacock Theatre and will play until 3rd January 2016.
