About the show

Israeli dance company L-E-V, created by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, bring their latest work Love Chapter 2 to the Peacock Theatre for strictly limited performances this July. This is the UK premiere of this piece that follows her first piece on matters of the heart, OCD Love.

OCD Love looked at the difficulties of being in love and having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Following on from the dark themes of this piece, Love Chapter 2 looks at the loneliness that is a companion to being in love, and the feelings of loss and despair that come with searching for a connection with others.

The dance was co-created by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar. They have developed a trademark style influenced by nightclubs and have worked with composer Ori Lichtik on a specially commissioned score. The simple, androgynous costumes are by Rebecca Hytting and Gon Biran, with lighting by Alon Cohen. The dancers are Gon Biran, Rebecca Hytting, Mariko Kakizaki, Keren Lurie Perdes, Darren Daveney and Daniel Norgren-Jensen.

L-E-V has only existed for 5 years and already boasts a busy, international touring schedule. Their previous London stop received 4 stars from The Guardian, and this companion piece to OCD Love will no doubt appeal to audiences who have seen their work previously. L-E-V Love Chapter 2 runs at London's Sadler's Wells from 13 July to 14 July 2018.
