Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games Tickets

Dominion Theatre

The ultimate Lord of the Dance, Michael Flatley, brings a new and revamped dance extravaganza to the stage. Expect pyrotechnics and dancing cyborgs to be mixed in with traditional Irish Dance, in Flatley's new production Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games.

Following a successful run at the London Palladium, Lord of The Dance: Dangerous Games is back with a bang, this time at the expansive Dominion Theatre.

With Irish folklore providing a narrative thread to this immersive dance extravaganza, the audience will watch as a dark force disturbs a magical green-land. Can the Lord of the Dance save the utopia from being destroyed by dance demons?

Playing with concepts of good vs evil and love vs lust, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is a tantalising dance spectacular that pulls out all the stops for the audience members. With projections, pyrotechnics and even a hologram of Michael Flatley dancing to the audience, this show promises to deliver. Flatley’s signature moves are fulfilled by a talented troupe of Irish Dancers and traditional Riverdance is inserted throughout. A new Lord of the Dance tears up the stage, selected and trained by Flatley himself.

Michael Flatley tapped his way to success in the late 80’s, with Riverdance finding him international success in 1994. Since then he has gone on to re-vamp Riverdance on several occasions as well as choreographing Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger. In his later years he has focused more on choreography than dancing and has appeared in hit TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars and Superstars of Dance.

Whilst he has passed the buck to his young team of talented dancers, Michael Flatley will appear in some performances as advertised.

The show was visually very beautiful and had a small story of good vs evil to help link the dances together. It certainly had the full spirit of Riverdance style shows that we've come to love over the past 20 years. Dances were broken up with songs Read more

Having seen Riverdance, and Lord of the Dance, I was slightly disappointed with the show itself. The show seemed very lacking in terms of a story line, which was due to be told through movement of the little spirit and about her dreams. However I did Read more

Without the main man Micheal Flately it was not the same. Very few people in the house.
