BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s power team Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff dance their way into the West End in sizzling new show Burn the Floor. Opening at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre, Burn the Floor is the hot-blooded dance show that features jaw-dropping choreography, heart-stopping music and breath-taking moves!

Originally opening in 2009 on Broadway, Burn the Floor transferred to the London in 2010, but has since been reimagined and revamped for its Shaftesbury run, complete with new choreography, music and orchestrations. Flanked by sixteen world-class dancers, including Strictly’s newest member Karen Hauer, Burn the Floor is the ballroom blitz that features reinvented Ballroom and Latin dance to create one sensational production. From Harlem’s hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy-hop, Foxtrot and Charleston were all the rage, Burn the Floor takes us on a journey to the Latin Quarters, where the Cha-Cha, Rumba, Salsa and Mambo steamed up the stage.

Dazzling audiences in over 40 countries, Burn the Floor now stars Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff, who have both appeared on the BBC’s popular dance series Strictly Come Dancing and who have been Professional Partners since 2010. Together, the pair have travelled all over the world, competing in championships and teaching dance classes. Windsor specialises in Latin and Ballroom and has previously represented England in the World Championships, whilst Rihanoff has competed in Latin and Mambo Championships.

Directed and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, who has been involved as a guest judge and choreographer on Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance, Burn the Floor is the epic production featuring the hip-swivelling, high-kicking talents of eighteen leading international dancers from around the world. Make sure you don’t miss out on this exuberant production!
