When is the cheapest time to see a West End show?

Off-peak performances, usually on Monday to Thursday during school term times, are a great option for booking cheap theatre tickets in London. At some shows, you can save up to £50 on premium seats during the week compared to the weekend. Previews, which are the performances before a show's official press night, are often cheaper than later performances. Always check the date of a show's press night if it has been confirmed for an easy way to save money.

If you can be flexible with dates, it is always worth checking multiple performances to find the best available price for your chosen seats.

Where should I sit to get the best value theatre tickets?

Premium seats at the theatre are expensive, but if you know where to look you can enjoy a great view for less. Seats just one or two rows behind premium often have near-identical views for a significantly cheaper price, for example. When you are booking, always check user-submitted view from seat photos on SeatPlan to get an idea of which seats are best for your budget.
